Dick Wolsey

Dick Wolsey is a Suffolk based artist living in North Suffolk whose energy and enjoyment of colour can be visually seen in all his works.  Painting predomionantly on canvas the themes of Dick's works range from, natural forms to abstracts and combinations of the two. He explores techniques and approaches different themes as and when he feels it appropriate making for art that is new, fresh, exciting and above else definitely original.  

Paintings are in the main acrylic based but Dick applies oil into his works sometimes first, followed by water based paints and vice versa.  Either technique provides slightly different surface features and surprising end results. 

Canvas sizes range from medium to large and commissions can extend the final size created within Dick's studio to approximately 12' x 8'.
